Obituaries 

Sylvia Ann Grady McClellan, 73, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, McLean, TX.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean with the Rev. Thacker Haynes, pastor of First United Methodist Church in McLean, officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean.

Mrs. McClellan was born Feb. 14, 1937, in Brown County to Edward B. Grady Jr. and Winnie R. Mayo Grady. She married John C. McClellan on Feb. 14, 1968, in Borger. She was a resident of Hutchins before moving to McLean 20 years ago.

She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in McLean.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 23, 1995.

Survivors include a brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Buck and Stella Lee and Sarah Cunningham, all of McLean; and several nieces and nephews.

Donald Peyton, 71, of Amarillo died Friday, April 23, 2010.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.
Donald was born Jan. 1, 1939, in Dewey, Okla. He married Myrtle Sherer on Nov. 19, 1966, in Amarillo.
Donald was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 196 of Amarillo for almost half a century. He loved the travel and camaraderie of the construction trade.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Peyton; a son, Tom and wife Celedonia Peyton of Amarillo; a daughter, Heather and husband Dan Serra of Plano; a sister, Amanda Venn of Pottsboro; and three grandchildren.

Donald Wayne Followill, 72, died Saturday, April 17, 2010, in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Garden of Serenity in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Donald was the manager of the Fritch Medical Clinic for four years. He married Dorothy Jean Kirkover on July 19, 1957, in Oahu Territory in Hawaii.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Michael Followill of Amarillo and Rodney Followill of Fort Drum, N.Y.; and a daughter, Theresa Coffee of Borger; 14 grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
